Prep & Injection Guide
Everything you need to know about peptide storage, reconstitution, and administration — explained step by step.
Peptide Storage
Peptides are fragile and require specific, stable storage conditions to retain their potency and maximize shelf life. When you purchase multiple vials, only reconstitute the one you'll be dosing from.
Higher temperatures accelerate degradation.
One of the fastest ways to reduce potency.
Can cause degradation and crystal formation.
Degrades potency over time.
Dropping vials can reduce potency.
Get an opaque container
Use one that seals tightly. If it isn't opaque, wrap the peptides in foil.
Add desiccant packets
Silica gel packets minimize moisture exposure — worth the small investment.
Seal & store properly
Refrigerate or freeze, depending on how long you plan to store it.
| State | Storage | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Reconstituted | Fridge36–46°F (2–8°C) | 60–90 days |
| NAD+, AOD-9604 | Fridge36–46°F (2–8°C) | 30–45 days |
| Lyophilized | Room temp68–77°F (20–25°C) | 30–60 days |
| Lyophilized | Fridge36–46°F (2–8°C) | Up to 1 year |
| Lyophilized | Freezer-4°F (-20°C) | 2–3 years |
Lipo-C exception: Do not refrigerate — it will gel. Store at 68–77°F (20–25°C), away from light.
Supplies Needed
Required
- Alcohol prep pads
- Bacteriostatic (BAC) water — or the specific solvent for your peptide
- Clean insulin syringes — 0.3 mL for single-unit doses
Optional
- 22–23 gauge, 3 mL syringe for reconstitution
- Storage container — light-blocking and moisture-proof
Syringes
The needle end.
The cylindrical part marked with unit numbers.
The movable part inside the barrel.

1 mL / 100-unit
For doses over 10 units.

0.3 mL / 30-unit
For single-unit doses (2, 5, 7 units…).

3 mL Reconstitution
For measuring BAC water accurately.

Luer Lock 10 mL
For Lemon Bottle or large volumes.
Needle gauge
Higher number = thinner
Needle length

Reconstitution
Remove caps & clean
Clean both vials with alcohol prep pads.
Select the needle
A 22–23 G, 3 mL syringe is best. A 28–29 G insulin syringe also works.
Draw the water
Insert into the BAC water vial, invert, and draw the indicated amount.
Add the water
Insert into the peptide vial. Press the plunger slowly and gently.
Remove & dispose
Cap and dispose of the syringe properly.
Mix gently
Roll between palms. Let sit 15–30 minutes to fully dissolve.
Tip: Before each dose, roll the vial gently between your palms to ensure even mixing.
Subcutaneous Injection
Clean vial & draw dose
Use an alcohol pad. Draw the indicated amount from the inverted vial.
Prepare the site
Clean the injection site with an alcohol pad.
Pinch & inject
Pinch a fold of skin and lift it away from the body. Insert the needle fully with a quick motion.
Depress the plunger
Inject the full dose. Wait a few seconds before removing.
Post-injection
Rub the site for about a minute. Return the peptide to the fridge.
Intramuscular Injection
Clean & draw
Clean the vial top. Draw the indicated dose from the inverted vial.
Prepare the site
Clean the injection site with an alcohol pad.
Inject into muscle
Push the needle quickly through the skin and into the muscle.
Complete injection
Depress the plunger fully. Wait a few seconds before removing.
Post-injection
Rub the site for about a minute. Return the peptide to the fridge.
