Peptide Storage
Peptides are quite fragile, and require specific, stable storage conditions to retain their potency and maximize their shelf life. Whenever you purchase multiple vials, you will only reconstitute the vial that you will be dosing from.
⚠️ Factors Affecting Stability
-
🌡️
Temperature fluctuations: Higher temps accelerate degradation
-
🔄
Freeze/thaw cycles: One of the fastest ways to diminish efficacy
-
💧
Humidity: Can cause degradation and crystal formation
-
☀️
Light exposure: Degrades peptide quality
-
💥
Mechanical shock: Dropping vials reduces efficacy
📦 Storage Preparation
Get an opaque container
Use one that seals tightly. If not opaque, wrap peptides in foil.
Add desiccant packets
Silica gel packets minimize moisture exposure. Worth the small investment.
Seal and store properly
Refrigerator or freezer based on storage duration.
📊 Storage Duration
| State | Storage | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Reconstituted | Fridge | 60-90 days |
| NAD+, AOD-9604 | Fridge | 30-45 days |
| Lyophilized | Room temp | 30-60 days |
| Lyophilized | Fridge | Up to 1 year |
| Lyophilized | Freezer | 2-3 years |
Lipo-C: Do not refrigerate—will gel. Store at 68-77°F, away from light.

Syringes
Syringe Anatomy
- →Tip: The needle
- →Barrel: Cylindrical part with numbers
- →Plunger: Moveable part inside
1mL / 100-unit
For doses over 10 units
- Each tick = 2 units
- Can't measure single units accurately
0.3mL / 30-unit
For single-unit doses (2, 5, 7 units...)
- Each tick = 1 unit
- Best precision available
3mL Reconstitution
For accurate reconstitution
- Short lines = 0.1mL increments
Luer Lock 10mL
For Lemon Bottle or large volumes
- Needle sold separately
📏 Needle Gauge
Higher number = thinner needle
- 💉Dosing: 29-31 gauge
- 🧪Reconstitution: 27 gauge
📐 Needle Lengths
Subcutaneous: 5/16" (8mm) or ½" (12mm)
Intramuscular: ½" (12mm) recommended
Reconstitution
Step-by-Step Process
Remove caps & clean
Clean both vials with alcohol prep pads.
Select needle
22-23G 3mL syringe is best. A 28-29G insulin syringe also works.
Draw the water
Insert into BAC water vial, invert, draw indicated amount.
Inject slowly
Insert into peptide vial. Press plunger slowly and gently.
Remove & dispose
Cap and dispose of syringe properly.
Mix gently
Roll between palms. Let sit 15-30 minutes to fully dissolve.
Before each dose, roll the vial gently between palms to ensure even mixing.
Subcutaneous Injection
Injection Steps
Clean vial & draw dose
Use alcohol pad. Draw indicated amount from inverted vial.
Prepare site
Clean skin area with alcohol pad.
Pinch & inject
Pinch fat, lift away from body. Insert needle fully with quick motion.
Depress plunger
Inject all contents. Wait a few seconds before removing.
Post-injection
Rub site for 1 minute (through shirt). Return peptide to fridge!

Intramuscular Injection
Injection Steps
Clean & draw
Clean vial top. Draw indicated dose from inverted vial.
Prepare site
Clean skin area with alcohol pad.
Inject into muscle
Push syringe quickly through skin and into muscle.
Complete injection
Depress fully. Wait a few seconds before removing.
Post-injection
Rub site for 1 minute. Return peptide to fridge!
